3 Astrological Highlights for 2015

2015 astrology forecast

2015 Astrology Highlights

1) Pluto-Uranus Square: Final Exact Hit in March 2015

The square between Pluto and Uranus suggests an upheaval and a drastic change of perspective.  This square has been in effect since 2012, profoundly affecting your natal planets or points within 7-14 degree of Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn.)  You probably felt the growth pressure acutely in terms of the houses such planets ruled in your horoscope.

Pluto and Uranus form an exact square in mid-March 2015 for the final time. This time period looks especially dynamic, as Mars and an eclipse are involved in the formation as well.

This event will strongly impact your natal planets or points near 15 degree of any cardinal sign. During the spring of 2015, this could be your “pain point”, “growth point”, or (usually) both.

2) Saturn in Early Degrees of Sagittarius

In last December Saturn climbed out of Scorpio and began its transit into Sagittarius.  Aside from a brief retrograde back into Scorpio during July-September, Saturn will be within early degrees of Sagittarius (0-10 degrees.)

This will be an important time for those with natal planets or points in 0-8 degrees of Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces), especially if the planets involved include the Sun or the Moon.

Consider that last year, Neptune has been making a strong contact with your natal planets or points located in 3-7 degrees of mutable signs, washing over them with inspiration.  This year Saturn will follow up to deliver a strong reality check through the same points.  In short, it’s time to put into practice some of that inspiration you felt last year related to this area of your horoscope.

This year, you’ll feel empowered if you can take on new commitment or responsibility in the areas ruled by the early mutable planets in your horoscope.

3) Saturn-Neptune Square in November-December 2015

The combination of Saturn and Neptune suggests, on a highest level, a realization of creative vision.  You’ll be able to utilize this transit to the degree you’re able to give form to your creative inspiration.

Creative effort takes patience and dedication.  If you fail to take action to give tangible form to your creative vision, you might start feeling a powerful sense of discontent in your life during this time period.

In November 2015, Saturn and Neptune will form an exact square.  Your natal planet or point near 7 degrees of mutable signs will strongly feel this tension.  Consider it a creative challenge, and you will probably enjoy the effort.

  1. All of these hit me exactly. This feels very personal, Universe! :-)
In addition, midpoints in my partnership charts will take the heat, confirming what’s happening in the natal.

You sound almost optimistic about Neptune squares. I experienced it – my own fault, obviously – as a romantic delusion, not particularly creative or inspirational time, or rather no more than usual. I suppose, I was inspired by the romance, but it dissolved. Nothing to show for it but wasted time.

Not sure where I saw this bit – the final Uranus/Pluto square will be with both planets moving direct. That’s for the first time in this entire aspect series, right?

    • Thank you for sharing your experience. You might be able to get more out of the experience if you ask yourself “What feelings did the dissolution of this relationship bring up in me?” Usually there is an underlying emotional pattern that tends to repeat itself until you’re able to embrace your core wounds on a feeling level.

You could be right about the Uranus Pluto square happening while they’re both moving direct – but I haven’t really checked. Either way, the natal points near the square will be significantly impacted.

  2. Thanks for these highlights… You have a positive way to present very challenging aspects, and it’s very helpfull to have them explained in such a perspective.

  3. I know it sounds perverse but I’m looking forward to the final Pluto-Uranus square in March. This formation represents a lot of tension, waiting and anticipation for me and I’m excited to see what happens when it’s released. And with Mars in the mix there’s sure to be some action involved!
